The Architecture of Trust

New video is up: “The Architecture of Trust,” on reimagining academic libraries in the GenAI era.

AI can process information. It cannot exercise judgment. That distinction is the whole talk.
I cover the Circular Crisis, where AI writes from its own output, and nobody breaks the loop. The Fluency Trap, where confident, polished writing turns out to be wrong, and novice researchers can’t always tell. And why Ranganathan basically wrote an AI design spec in 1931, decades before any of us had the vocabulary for it.
The bigger question underneath all of it: are librarians still gatekeepers, or are we becoming trust architects?
