Community

AI4LIB is, first and foremost, a community. The website, the digest, and the resources all exist to support the conversations happening among librarians and information professionals who are figuring out AI together.

Open Hour

A recurring open conversation held over Zoom, where members discuss whatever in AI is relevant that week, share tools, ask questions, and occasionally turn the session into informal training on a specific technique. Open to all, regardless of experience level with AI.

Weekly Digest

A summary of each Open Hour discussion, shared with the community and distilled for easy reading, sometimes in English, sometimes in Hindi or Hinglish, so language is never a barrier to staying informed.

WhatsApp Group

The most active pulse of the community, where daily updates, questions, and discussions happen in real time between Open Hour sessions.

Its messages are also shared on LinkedIn AI4LIB Group and on AI4LIB: The AI Librarian WhatsApp Channel.

YouTube Channel

AI4LIB – Longer explorations, recorded sessions, and narrated walkthroughs of tools and case studies, for members who prefer to learn by watching.
